Angus, Conrad, and I were successful in making a slow-motion, action packed, short video of a fight. It was in all our interests to make a slow-motion film of a fight, as films like Sherlock Holmes use this technique to create dramatic scenes that elaborate actions. We used the app 'SLOPRO' (a free app available to the iPhone, iPod and iPad) to film the video and, on the same interface, Angus and I edited the clip so that parts were in slow-motion and others were in real time. I found doing this extremely effective in the way that the actions seemed to be more powerful. Here you can see the edited video compared to the non-edited video, illustrating the effectiveness of editing the original clip. The task of editing the film was very simple in the way that the app was laid out very clearly, as it took less than an hour to do so. The only problem that we had was figuring out the ways in which you could edit the video, forcing us to start over more than once (which was frustrating), but in the end we finished the film to perfection. The music track in the background was added after we uploaded the clip to YouTube. There was a place where you could edit the audio of your video, and we did so by adding the track 'Once It Starts'. It was provided by YouTube so I'm sure it isn't illegal. The video is best to watch in HD. The overall project took about 4-5 hours, including editing, adding music and filming. Thank you to Cian for filming.

This video is explaining that the world is becoming a lot more optimistic and advanced society. Technology is helping us in many ways such as for education with the Khan Academy, for medical improvement and to help ideas and news spread. “Things are now intelligent connected and powerful” is a quote from this video. It is said that we are a last generation of a boring and uninteresting society. It is also stated that work is a lot more easily done, because of much faster networking and emails are easier to use. Why should we use average teachers from our school when we can get the best ones to teach us online? In San Francisco 1994, the internet shot off and many investors invested in it, but lots of money was lost in a short space of time, because of the .com crash. Some Facts 57% of people talk more on the internet A sixth of couples meet online Children spend 7.5 hours a day on mobile devices By 2014 mobile devices will overtake desktop devices By 2020, 50 billion will be connected The idea of a monitoring service is now slightly worrying, as the government want to be able to view more of your private things.
